Disclosure, Advertising & Privacy Policy

I created this blog as a reflection of my interests, outlooks and experiences. Every post I write is genuine and heartfelt. If I state an opinion, it is my opinion and not that of a manufacturer or advertiser. It’s mine and mine alone.

Whenever I write a post at the behest of a third party, be it a sponsor, organization or friend, I will note it at the end of the post. If I have been asked to write a post on behalf of a third party, any opinions stated in that post will be strictly mine. I will not alter my opinions for compensation.

If I write a post describing or reviewing some object, place, purchase, restaurant, movie, book, store, event, blog, animal, vegetable, mineral, person, place or thing which I believe may be misconstrued as a compensated post, I will note at the bottom that the post was not sponsored or compensated. That will dispel any doubts you may have about my veracity. Likewise, if I write a post about someone with whom I have a business relationship, I will also let you know.

In summary, I’d like you to have fun while reading my blog, and I don’t want you to worry about whether I am recommending something because someone paid me to do it. If you don’t trust me, you won’t read my blog, and that would rot. Nuff said.

In keeping with my theme of “honesty is the best policy”, I wouldn’t mind making some money with this blog. I like money. I don’t like money more than my husband, kids, parents and siblings (blood and in-law), but at the end of the day money is nice to make, fun to spend and helpful to save… especially in this economy.

If you would like to give me some money in exchange for advertising, that would make me very happy. Naturally, it depends on what kind of advertising you would like to do. This is a family friendly site, so I’d like very much to keep it clean. That does not mean that it has to be all fluffy bunnies and kitty cats. That might make me queasy, actually. (Not that I dislike bunnies or kitty cats, but I am actually allergic to cats. More of a dog person in nature, I am…) Examples of things I’d get a kick out of advertising would be in the areas of food, travel, electronics, video games, music, books and pretty much anything else you see me blog about. But just because your product or service isn’t listed above doesn’t mean I won’t consider it.

  • Wondering if I’d like to place an ad? Ask me.
  • Thinking of sending me to the inauguration of your new cruise ship or resort but you’re just not sure I’ll do it? Don’t be shy.
  • Curious to know if I’ll fly to Peoria for a pow wow, Madison for a meeting or Walla Walla for a walkthrough? Drop a line.
